Guiding young boys to be men

Deven was the kind of kid everyone loved—outgoing, funny, and full of life. He had a natural talent for basketball and spent hours practicing every day, dreaming of a bright future. But the lack of a father's guidance led him down the wrong path, and he turned to the streets to fill the void.

While on the streets at just 17, Deven was shot and killed. His future, once full of promise, was lost forever.

Like Deven, there are many boys without guidance, searching for direction in all the wrong places.

Stories like Deven's motivate us to help more teen boys discover their potential and create a brighter future.

Our Mission
To guide, uplift, and transform the lives of teen boys by providing them with the tools, skills, and support needed to be strong, responsible, hardworking men.
Our Vision
To break cycles of poverty, violence, and incarceration by offering positive alternatives to street life through mentorship, skill-building, real-world education, and emotional support. We stand in the gap to empower our youth to rise above their circumstances, embrace their potential, and walk boldly into a future filled with purpose and success.

I’m a man who’s overcome a challenging past, once turning to the streets and selling drugs to make money. I’m now rewriting my story, transforming my bad choices into motivation to build a brighter future for the next generation. I focus on creating opportunities, showing teen boys a path beyond the streets and making money the wrong way. By sharing my journey, I’m proving there are other ways to make a fulfilling and legitimate living, inspiring others to rise above and choose a path of purpose and possibility.

I am living proof that transformation is possible. After overcoming a difficult past, I rebuilt my life with purpose and passion. Through Boys To Men, I use my years of construction experience to equip teen boys with hands-on skills and real-world confidence. More importantly, I devote myself to mentoring boys, inspiring them to make better choices and build a future they can be proud of. My journey from hardship to hope reminds us all that it’s not what happens to us that defines us — it’s how we respond to it. Every teen boy deserves the chance to rise, and I am here to help them believe in that possibility.

Boys to Men program has taught me that you don’t have to go through things alone. It’s important to have community and brotherhood. I’ve learned what true brotherhood means: love each other, not hate, and work together, not apart. The program also has given me exposure to new things in life. I’ve been on tours to colleges and trade schools, seeing different career opportunities available to me. I tell any young man to join us so we can journey through life together.
